One Ohio State player left Indianapolis disappointed, and another left injured. The NFL combine has not treated the Buckeyes very well so far.

Defensive back Kurt Coleman will work out today, as the combine concludes.

Kicker Aaron Pettrey said he felt a "little bit of a letdown" after he connected on 10 of 15 field-goal tries in drills Friday. He said he missed from 35 yards, twice from 40 when he hit the uprights both times and also from 45 and 50.

Pettrey said he felt better about his kickoffs, putting three of nine into the end zone and several others nearly that far.

"I didn't have a terrible day, it was average," Pettrey said. "But I expected to do better."

Three kickers were invited. Pettrey said Michigan State's Brett Swenson made 13 of 15 field-goal attempts, while top-rated Leigh Tiffin of Alabama made 9 of 15.

OSU defensive linemen Thaddeus Gibson and Doug Worthington were next to work out, doing their bench presses Sunday. It was then that Worthington suffered a strained muscle.

Although it is not believed to be serious, he decided not to participate in the rest of the drills for precautionary reasons, focusing on being healthy for OSU's pro day March12.

Gibson fared better. He put up 32 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench - tied for sixth among defensive linemen. Yesterday, he posted a 4.71-second time in the 40-yard dash, about middle of the pack for defensive ends.

Gibson had said he wanted to run in the 4.6 range.

Decker trial date set The man who punched linebacker Tyler Moeller last July in a Florida bar/restaurant will go on trial June2, according to Pinellas (Fla.) County court records.

Ralph Gray Decker is charged with felony battery. Moeller suffered a head injury and sat out the 2009 season. He hopes to return this fall.
