Gahanna graduate Jennifer Bushby became just the 13th player in Ohio University women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points, but Toledo spoiled the occasion by winning the Mid-American Conference game 76-54 yesterday in Athens.

Bushby, who scored 16 points, is also just one of two women in Bobcats history to reach 1,000 points, 300 assists and 150 steals in her career. Granville native Laura Reding accomplished the feat in 1987-91.

Bushby also had four rebounds and a team-high three assists for Ohio (6-17, 2-7).

Lisa Johnson scored 13 points to lead the Rockets (18-5, 8-2).

Top 25 highlights No. 3 Notre Dame 86, Pittsburgh 76 -- Skylar Diggins had 23 points and 10 rebounds, both season highs, and Lindsay Schrader scored 18 points for host Notre Dame (21-1, 8-1) in a Big East victory over Pittsburgh (12-10, 1-8).

Taneisha Harrison scored 20 points for the Panthers, who cut a 19-point lead to eight in the final five minutes.

No. 4 Nebraska 71, No. 12 Texas A&M 60 -- Kelsey Griffin had 21 points and 10 rebounds for host Nebraska (21-0, 8-0), which won by double digits for the 18th straight time. But this Big 12 game was far from easy.

Texas A&M (16-5, 4-4) got as close as 65-60 in the final three minutes, but Griffin scored on a layup in the final second of the shot clock, sparking the Cornhuskers to finish off the Aggies.

Danielle Adams scored 18 points for Texas A&M, which has lost four of six games.

No. 23 Wisconsin-Green Bay 74, Wright State 50 -- Julie Wojta scored 23 points, helping Wisconsin-Green Bay (19-3, 8-3) end a three-game Horizon League road losing streak.

Erica Richardson led Wright State (8-13, 4-7) with 18 points.

Ohio highlight Capital 76, Baldwin-Wallace 59 -- Kaitlin Elsass scored 24 points and Kristen Richardson had 22, and Capital (15-6, 12-2) grabbed a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference lead with a convincing win over host Baldwin-Wallace (16-5, 12-2).

Notable California and UCLA combined for just 22 points in the first half, the fewest points scored in one half in nearly six years.

UCLA missed its first 12 shots and didn't score until Christina Nzekwe's free throw with 10:06 left.

It was even worse for Cal. After jumping out to an 8-0 lead, the Bears were held scoreless over the final 11:04. UCLA led 14-8 at halftime.

UCLA won 44-32.
